VGP 1956
Introducing VGP 1956
Price: $40
Very Good Presets is excited to introduce 1956, a preset pack inspired by the great Gordon Parks. Parks was one of the greatest photographers to ever live, and his work is extremely important to the history of the United States. He captured the Civil Rights Movement, issues of segregation throughout the nation, and life in rural settings for Black Americans.
There are two main presets with a selection of modifiers. The color variant of this preset is inspired by his use of Kodachrome, and the monochromatic variant of this preset is based on a variety of characteristics found in black-and-white films of this era.
Additionally, 50% of all funds from the sale of this preset will be donated to Black Image Center, a nonprofit that aims to cultivate imagination through photography and economically empower Black storytellers and image makers.
This download includes the preset, modifiers, and a user guide.
VGP are designed to work with any camera system.
